SYNOPSIS: Based on a short story by Anton Chekhov, this production has a modern twist that incorporates movement, ensemble, and music. This story details the intricacies surrounding a chance meeting between Anna and Gurov in the infamous town of Yalta. Anna is tired of her flunky husband and Gurov has grown bored of living his life passively. She is young, sweet and malleable. He is a father, emotionally hardened, and a misogynist. The exhilaration of a new connection takes over and both of them are seeking the warmth of someone new to fill the void, but are they prepared to handle the weight of those decisions?
